FAQ
Will adhesive hooks and shelves damage a rental wall?
Not if you use the right ones and remove them correctly. Command strips and similar stretch-release adhesives come off painted drywall cleanly when you pull the tab straight down, slowly. The risks are cheap foam tape, textured or freshly painted walls, and yanking instead of stretching. Stick to the weight rating and clean the wall with rubbing alcohol before you apply.
